The great long road to all the world. It is where I live, in the fuller sense of the word. It is where stories are most alive. It has lead me around the planet several times. I’ve followed it down dark alleyways and up grand boulevards; into mansions and into humble huts; into the company of the sacred and the profane, and into the innumerable stories that make up my life.
